Electa-Fuzz
My take on a classic fuzz and overdrive circuit, the Electa-Fuzz blends the best of both worlds — vintage punch and modern power. Each unit is hand built using a mix of NOS and modern components for killer tone and reliability.
Both sides of this pedal enable open, touch-sensitive textures that guitar players love. Use your volume knob! The footswitches can be used independently or stacked, allowing the fuzz to push the distortion for more complex, rich tones.
The toggle switch changes the distortion circuit’s core flavor, enabling even more customization. No subtle shifts here — both positions play and feel drastically unique to each other.
Built for players who appreciate pedalboard efficiency as much as the sound, the Electa-Fuzz rewards experimentation and nuance. Check some sound samples out below!
Sound Samples
Below are two different signal chains to give real examples of how the pedal sounds:
- No FX: Guitar > Pedal > Amp
- Full FX: Guitar > Pedal > Amp > Noise Gate > Delay (sometimes) > Studio Bus Compressor > Stereo Twin Tracker
The amp is a virtual capture of a '63 Fender Bassman by JHS. The guitar is a Fender Telecaster mostly using the single-coil pickup on the bridge.
